Our solution is a portable field tool that automatically and accurately speciates mosquitoes using computer vision. This user-friendly tool, currently in the prototype phase, allows untrained field workers to take high-quality, high-resolution images of mosquito specimens. These images are then processed and labelled in the Cloud by our deep learning algorithm. The species data will be available in the Cloud for decision makers as soon as the mosquito is collected.
